MY STORY
I love learning and telling the stories of families who, with great love and hard work, with pride and a sense of responsibility, continue to take care of ancient manors and the secrets they conceal.
My speciality
Art tours
Siena: the art of the city
Art in the Siena area
The city of Siena and its surroundings offer countless potential combinations of amazing tours at any time of year. In my guided tours, I provide a key to interpretation of these places through their history and, above all, art, without neglecting aspects such as the folk traditions and local products typical of each place. A tour may last from an hour to a whole day or more. And to help you plan your holiday and introduce you to various aspects of Italy and Tuscany, I can also offer customised on-line virtual tours.

For many years in Siena I had the pleasure to have Ilaria Bichi Ruspoli as guide for my
excursions, both with the students of Concordia University, and for my private groups of adults coming from America and Europe. It was always a pleasure: professionalism, and excellent knowledge of the history, plus remarquable command of both english and french languages, clear and detailed, a real asset when dealing with foreighners.
I highly recommend her.

We warmly recommend a cultural and panoramic guided tour with Ilaria. Our guests love her and we do too. She is a very knowledgeable guide. She is Sienese and has a real passion for Art, Architecture and Beauty. A Siena guided tour with Ilaria is an authentic amazing experience, you
see what others miss! Siena is rich with art, culture and incredible food. It is very well known for its horseback riding competition called “Palio” and has been on the World Heritage List since 1995 as it has skillfully preserved many of its major medieval features.
You will appreciate this stunning town from a completely new perspective. Ilaria can also guide you wherever you wish in Tuscany. A nourishing experience which you will cherish for years to
come.

We have had the pleasure of engaging Ilaria on several occasions for our groups in Siena and Southern Tuscany. Her deep knowledge of the art, culture, history, and society of the region is remarkable. Our visits to Siena, Pienza, San Gimignano and Monte Oliveto were greatly enriched by her commentary. Besides having a perfect command of English, Ilaria is also a lovely person: approachable, helpful, responsive to the needs of our clients, and completely reliable. We cannot recommend her more highly.
